Layout Groups
These plugins implement groups for Layout. They allow for the selection of multiple items depending on the group they belong to.
An item may belong to more than one group.
The groups an item belong to are stored as item comments. These are preserved during a “Load from Scene”.
Group names are case sensitive and may contain all characters except for ;.
Layout Groups includes the following functionality:
Add to Group
This allows you to add the cuurrently selected item(s) to either an existing or a new group.
Select Group
This shows a pop-up of all available groups, selecting one of them will select all items that are a part of this group and the same item type as the current selection mode.
I.e. it is only possible to select lights if the current selection mode is Light as well.
Select Similar Group
This shows a pop-up of all groups that are assigned to the currently selected items. Selecting one of them will select all items that are a part of this group and the same item type as the current selection mode.

Remove from Groups
Clear Groups
Open Groups / Groups...
Adding the db&w menu branch config will ad a group of buttons to the side menu that cover the groups functionality.
