====== Installation & Licensing ====== ===== Installation ===== Vai is distributed using a normal installer. It is recommended to remove an old version before installing. {{:vai:pasted:20250513-123508.png?275}} {{:vai:pasted:20250513-123514.png?275 }} {{ :vai:pasted:20250513-123527.png?275}} ---- Adding the location of VAI to the path may result in an error due to windows limitations. We'll attempt to find a workaround for that. {{:vai:pasted:20250513-123604.png?275 }} {{ :vai:pasted:20250513-123726.png?332}} ---- {{:vai:pasted:20250513-123617.png?275 }} {{ :vai:pasted:20250513-123626.png?275}} ---- Here you can choose which components to install. Please enter your Activation Code and *Activate Product* to license the product. You can deactivate a license from VAI's main menu to transfer it to another computer. A detailed explanation of the licensing options is available in the License Manager window itself. For now, both the license server and trial license are, at best, experimental. ---- You can verify your license in the About window. {{ :vai:pasted:20250513-100920.png?218}}
